Back from Being Stressed...
I'm back!
I've been fairly busy and really stressed out about my hygiene application as of late, so as a few of you may have noticed, I took a little posting hiatus. However, lucky for you I kept taking pictures while I was not blogging, and thought I would post a few.
.
First up, we saw this lady at Chipotle last week, and I maybe laughed harder than most at her situation: shirt tie stuck in pants, causing bunching of the shirt.
I don't have a heart, so I took a picture. :)
Also, I would like everyone to notice how cute Philip dresses. Aren't I lucky?
This is what happens when, being the on the ball wife that I am, I forget to screw the cap on the Dr. Pepper all the way. Notice my tub of grapes that are now soaking in soda, as well as the splatters on the door, which went into those compartments too. Also, soda was hiding behind the yogurts on the second shelf and under the drawers at the bottom. I'm a CHAMP.
Anyhoo, have a fantastic day everyone. Oh, also some new exciting news is that I have a new neice! Her name is Sophia. I think I'll call her Sopie. Anyways, I'm really excited to meet her and see Chris and Beth be the cutest parents ever! I love you kids!

Things I Love/Hate Thursday...
So it's been kind of a long sucky-ish week, and I've been somewhat cranky as I stress out about several different things. So I'm going to talk about things I hate...some of which are caused by things I love, and then there are some things that I want to love on too. Basically I'm jumping on the "Things I hate..." bandwagon.
.
First and foremost, I am hating my house. Well, not so much my house, but the fact that I can't easily live in my house. Here's why:
What's this Melissa? Well my friends, this is our crown moulding. And I am totally in love with it (btw, this is the backs of it, so don't think that we picked weird stuff, the picture is for dramatic effect). So what's to hate? Perhaps the fact that these two 16 foot long stacks stretch from one end of our kitchen/basically our hallway into our laundry room, and we can't easily open our fridge or dishwasher with them here. My poor grapes and nectarines were trapped in the bottom right drawer of the fridge this week because I couldn't open the door far enough to be able to open the drawer. And the dishwasher just got unloaded tonight after being ran on Sunday. Hooray for it being hung on Saturday and having my kitchen back!
And here is my cute little clock that has been waiting so patiently in the extra bedroom where it will stay until the bathroom is ready for it. Sighhhhhh, I feel like my house is seriously never going to get done.
.
Here's more things I hate that I don't have pictures of:
.
1.That nowhere in Downtown Phoenix has public restrooms...even if I spent a good 52 cents on copies and gave you my business and paid for parking to use you Mr. Stupid FedEx/Kinko's!
.
2. Forgetting something in the copier after leaving and having to drive back, while your gas light decides to come on, and you still have to go to the bathroom because they wouldn't let you use it when you were there earlier, jerks. Oh yeah, and you're in Downtown Phoenix, and are kind of afraid for your life and don't want to stop.
.
3. Broken escalators. When it's broken they should put a sign on the stairs that says, "You might as well walk up now because the escalator that you are going OUT OF YOUR WAY to use is now a very narrow staircase as well with bigger steps, sucker."
.
4. That the applications for hygiene school require you to get fingerprint clearance cards. Apparently there have been a lot of crooks applying, so they need to see if you have murdered anyone lately. Actually it is just another hoop to jump through to see if you are seriously thinking you can get in. I hate that they can make things difficult for no reason whatsoever. Rrrg.
.
Something I love:
.
Another thing I love: having a tan.
(refer to my arms in above picture)
What I don't love: peeling like crazy and basically looking as if I am a leper. I wish I was joking, but I'm not.
.
So that's all. Um, sorry I've been slacking on the posts lately. Reason being three things: First, I'm boring and cranky. Second, my stupid house steals my time. Third, I need to get my hygiene crap done ASAP. Hey, speaking of, does anyone know where I can get CPR certified besides the fire station? Let me know!

Vaca pics of yours truly...
Okay, so as usual, I'm going to throw out a disclaimer here; there are lots and lots of pictures, and knowing me, a good possibility that lots and lots of words will follow.
I am slightly nervous for Philip to see this because I can imagine him asking me, "Do you really think that everyone wanted to see EVERY detail of our life last week?" The answer: probably not. Sucks for you guys.
Philip told me tonight that this vacation was his favorite vacation ever. Hooray for successful vacations! Ok, less talk more rock.
Every road trip thus far with Philip I take a dash board picture. "California or Bust!" had just come out of Philip's mouth.
Fairly unattractive picture of us, but look! There's a Frozen Banana Stand!
Oh, and apparently when I don't blow dry or straighten my hair when it's humid I look like I am trying to pull off "The Rachel". 8 years to late Melissa, 8 years too late.
Oh, and look at the adorable couple in the background. Tender!
Next stop: DISNEYLAND!!!
And then we have lots of random and fairly bad pictures of us that I took lots of with my arm sticking out or asked a stranger to take...neither of which result in good pictures.
