Finally and Forever!

Let me take you on a little trip down Memory Lane (that would be a cute street name). In 2004 when I met Philip, he told me he was going to be a pharmacist. Fast forward three years. In 2007, Philip started pharmacy school! We were so thrilled to have a light at the end of the tunnel, and couldn't believe that he would indeed be the graduating class of 2010! Him on the first day of school:
Fast forward three more years. June 18, 2010. We thought it would never come. And Philip was thrilled to have his picture taken as he left for the school bright and early one last time. All five of Philip's sisters that live in town came to his graduation, which meant so much to us, and since I was slightly an emotional wreck that day, I started crying when I saw them walk into the auditorium, thinking about how blessed we are to have such great family.
And of course my parents attended, and we know that Philip's parents, Phil and Janet wanted to be there like crazy, but they're being all righteous and serving a mission.
Um, remember that graduations are boring?...this was no exception. Professor McGonagall droned on for ages and I wanted to take 5 points from Gryffindor because she was boring.
But then they finally started calling the graduates, and it was super neat to see Philip get hooded,
and be announced as "Doctor Philip Lindblom".
I was seriously so excited to see him afterwards, and I think JoDee described it best when she said I was beaming all day long.
Perhaps my favorite picture of the day...
Lindbloms! Thanks again sisters for supporting and feeding us for the past three years!
My handsome pharmacist!
Philip and his good friend Joe
Me and Joe's wife, Karen. Perhaps we are both a little bit ecstatic that we are no longer student wives!
This next picture made me laugh, because somehow I got like 12 of these, and every single one has my perma-smile in it. Seriously, words cannot describe how proud I am.
Philip and Seth
Philip and Ali, with Lee and I thinking we are very funny with him in the background.
Chris and Philip
Jesse and Philip
Seth, Lee, Philip, and Jill
I swear Jill is a saint, because she was the only girl in their group of friends and therefore had to put up with the stinky boys and had to endure endless harassing and teasing. She is way too nice to those guys.
Congrats to Philip and all of his friends that have become our school family over the past three years! I am so proud of all of them and am so
happy that they are all
FINALLY AND FOREVER DONE WITH SCHOOL!!!

Reenactment

I'm going to California for a couple of days with these kids. But instead of Philip, we're taking Reese and Nate.

While I'm SUPER excited to spend time with the Palmers and time at the beach, this will be the first time I've spent an entire day away from Philip in 5 1/2 years. Maybe I kinda cried when he left for church without me this morning. He, on the other hand, is busy and stressed with school things, so he said, "Wait, when are you coming home? Okay, see ya Tuesday." Gotta love him.

Speaking of school things, this is Philip's last week of his rotation, and graduation is NEXT WEEK! What the what?! His graduation announcements went in the mail this weekend! I seriously can't believe this is happening, and am ridiculously thrilled.

Alright, I'm out. Have a fun week, but mine might be funner. :)
